From the waterfalls and glaciers to puffins, whales, and beautiful horses, find out why Iceland is currently one of the world’s top tourist destinations! Join us on our 10-day adventure from June 17th – 26th, 2024. We will be driving the famed Ring Road and ferrying to the Westman Islands, covering more than 1,000 miles in all. We have spent significant time exploring Iceland and are ready to share our favorite destinations with you!

The tour begins by 10am on Monday, June 17th and will spend the first few days in the south of Iceland visiting iconic waterfalls, including Seljalandsfoss, and Skógafoss, as well as ferrying to the Westman Islands for one night to visit the world’s largest Atlantic puffin colony before returning to the mainland and venturing east to Vatnajökull National Park, home to Europe’s largest glacier and the famous Diamond Beach. From there, we will visit sights throughout the east fjords, spending an evening in the quaint port town of Seydisfjordur. From Seydisfjordur, we will make our way across the eastern highlands, stopping to visit Studlagil Canyon’s basalt rock columns and Iceland’s largest waterfalls, Dettifoss and Selfoss. After spending a night near the waterfalls, we will travel to Iceland’s “Capital of the North” – Akureyri – for two nights. Activities around Akureyri include whale watching, horse back riding (or guided fly fishing for an additional fee), and soaking in thermal pools of the brand new Forest Lagoon. After departing Akureyri, we will drive around the scenic Troll Peninsula on our way back to Reykjavik for the final night of the tour.
